The nightlife concentrates on Soi 1, where Himmel and Ting Tong face each other, and on the northern beach bars — Mimo, Nature Rocks, Life's a Beach — which are better for a sunset beer than a late night. Lonely Beach is Koh Chang's electronic-music corner; things get going after 22:00 and stay going. Our bungalows sit far enough back that you can hear a hint of bass and still sleep.
